My Background

Throughout my life, photography has been a constant. About eight years ago I became very interested in street photography after being inspired by the work of pioneers in photojournalism. I set out to the streets of Savannah, GA and New York City to become to the next famous photojournalist. That obviously didn’t happen.

However, I did keep gaining more and more followers on social media that were fans of my street photography work. Thousands of them actually. Some even bought prints and hung my photos on the walls of their homes.

I realized that capturing real people having real emotions was something that I had an eye for and wanted to do more of. I started shooting weddings and portraits and I haven’t looked back. A wedding day offers dozens, if not hundreds, of opportunities to capture those amazing moments that I have an eye for.

My Approach

Keep things simple and capture real moments.

We’ll get those beautiful portraits and group shots, but I promise the photos you look back on years from now will be those little, intimate moments with your spouse, friends and family throughout the day. I make it my mission to capture those. With this method, we’ll document your wedding day as it happens, instead of setting aside 2 hours for posed photos.

Timeless, Not Trendy

Photo fads come and go. Can you imagine if we still shot weddings with that super soft, glowy style that was popular in the 80’s? For that reason my photo style aims to be timeless, with clean, bold, accurate colors and lighting.
